When I first saw the trunk of the rainbow eucalyptus tree, I thought it couldn’t be real. Its colors looked almost painted, too surreal to be natural. Curious, I researched how this happens. It turns out that the tree sheds its bark in patches throughout the year. As the exposed layers mature, they shift in color, creating a constantly changing pattern.
